The University of Lagos (UNILAG) appears set to score another first with the plan to set up a modular refinery and also procure a mining license.

The Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe made this known on Tuesday during his investiture as the 12th VC of the university.

The event is part of activities lined up for the 2017 convocation of the university.
